“Most Interesting Man” to Lead NYC Halloween Parade

He has won an arm wrestling match in South America, surfed killer waves, benched pressed two women in a casino and even freed an angry bear from a painful looking trap. And this week, the “Most Interesting Man in the World” will be reigning over the Annual Greenwich Village Halloween Parade on Oct. 31.

“The Most Interesting Man in the World embodies exactly what this parade is about – mystery, intrigue, and of course, interesting,” said Jeanne Fleming, Director of the Village Halloween Parade. “We are thrilled to have Dos Equis involved to keep this great NYC tradition alive.”

Partnering with the Village Parade is part of Dos Equis’ Masquerade campaign, which encourages fans 21+ to seduce their senses and unmask a world of intrigue this Halloween season. As a leader in digital innovation, the brand is providing attendees with an incredible Masquerade virtual reality experience the day of the parade. In addition, they’re running the XX Guest List promotion on Instagram giving you a chance to attend a special Masquerade event on November 14th in NYC.

“Putting on a mask offers the chance to reveal a more interesting side of yourself, and that’s exactly what we’re encouraging consumers to do this Halloween season,” said Andrew Katz, VP of Marketing for Dos Equis. “By bringing ‘The Most Interesting Man’ to what is already an epic event enjoyed by millions, we’re taking this year’s Halloween celebration to another level.”

Sponsorship is the fastest form of marketing in the U.S. In most instances, sponsoring events is done to add value to the brand and to help create a unique position in the mind of the consumer. Dos Equis is raising the bar with this brilliant strategy. We can’t wait to see what’s next for The Most Interesting Man in the World.
